Jean Shahnasarian, CPA: Jean has been living in Tampa since 1986. She earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Purdue University, furthered her education at Florida State University, and then obtained a CPA license. Her work career began with Arthur Andersen & Co in Chicago. Jean then worked with a regional accounting firm in Tallahassee, and served as the accounting manager of The Tampa Tribune. During the past 28 years, she has been the treasurer of her husband’s psychology practice. Jean first attended St. Hagop in the late 1980’s; she has also been active at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church where she served as Senior Warden (Parish Council Chair) for two years. Jean has served on the St. Hagop Auditing committee for several years, currently chairs the events committee and has enthusiastically worked on church fundraising, nominating committee, the women’s guild and various other committees. She also plays the organ alongside Louise Yardumian in our choir!
