Last Sunday’s BBQ picnic for Syrian relief was delicious, provided wonderful fellowship and rasied money for Syrian Armenians who need our help. The picnic itself raised over $1,710, with an additional $1,100 donated by 2 individual donors. Following last winter’s successful campaign, and the ongoing daily struggle of Syrian Armenians for shelter, safety and sustenance, the St. Hagop parish council resolved to designate all general donations made on the divine liturgy of Jan. 5th to Syrian relief.
