Peter denied Christ three times and we don’t refer to him as ‘Denying Peter.’ James and John were always bragging, and we don’t hold that over their heads for 2000 years. Yet Thomas, despite all he did, despite the mighty grace of God, is forever branded doubting Thomas. We are going to correct this injustice today on the Feats of St. Thomas, and by taking a closer look at this man and his doubt, I think we will find great inspiration and grace for our own journeys.
