As we continue to commemorate the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, it is a prime opportunity to advocate for instruction about the Armenian Genocide in our local schools.
Florida’s Armenian Genocide Centennial Committee has partnered with The Genocide Education Project, the Florida Holocaust Museum, and the Pinellas and Hillsborough county school districts to offer a teacher training workshop about the Armenian Genocide.
Information about this important event appears below. All are invited, but especially anyone you know who is a middle school or high school teacher in the social sciences or the language arts in the Tampa Bay area. Please let them know about this event.
